Brian Viloria lost the WBO and WBA flyweight titles to his challenger Juan Francisco Estrada via split decision, 115-113, 111-116, 111-117, Saturday at the Cotai Arena at The Venetian resort-hotel in Macau. It is actually the first title bout won by the Mexican Estrada.

The Filipino-American fighter, also known as the "Hawaiian Punch," saw his record drop to 32-4-0 with 19 KOs, while the 22-year-old Estrada improved to 23-2-0 with 18 KOs, after moving up in weight for this bout.
"Now the cameras will turn on me, before this fight I considered myself a nobody in boxing," Estrada said afterwards, promising to give his beaten opponent - whose face was badly cut - a rematch, possibly in Macau.
"Now I am starting my career and I feel very happy about it."
Viloria, who came into the fight with 32 wins and only three defeats behind him, got the better of the earlier rounds.
He sent a clubbing left hand over the top midway through the first, rocking his younger opponent as he set out with the greater intent.
In posts on his Twitter account, Viloria also congratulated Estrada for a good fight, even as he vowed to bounce back from his loss.
Tough pill to swallow, but my hats off to Estrada for a great fight. He earned it tonight. Time to rest and hopefully we can go at it again.

To my filipino fans, I apologize for letting you down. But I promise you, I will come back from this setback, and make you proud once again.
